Helping Parents Design and Plan for Access, Visitation & Custody of Their Children.

Parents

When parents of minor children make the decision not to live together, they are faced with issues of how much time their child or children will spend with each parent; how important decisions regarding their child will be made; and how the child will be financially supported.  In legal terms, these issues are referred to as custody, visitation and child support. Regardless of marital status or where they are in the legal process, when parents disagree on the best plan for their child or children, they may choose to mediate and develop a plan they can both agree to.

By choosing to mediate, parents can lessen the stress on their child, come to a final resolution much more quickly, and have more input in the parenting plan.  The Arkansas Access and Visitation Mediation Program’s goal is to provide mediation services to help parents create a parenting plan that works for both parties and benefits their children.
